Inhouse is an Auckland based consultancy creating appropriate and effective solutions through simple, clear, well crafted graphic design. Founded in 1995, Inhouse is a small practice often collaborating with other creative specialists; artists, architects, product designers and digital experts. We are optimistic about the role design plays in society and in enhancing our clients’ businesses.

Profiles

Arch MacDonnell is the Creative Director of Inhouse, co-founder of the company and a graduate of Swinburne University, Melbourne. He judged for the Best Awards in 2002 and 2009, and was a member of the Design Jury for the 2014 Cannes Lions. He has served on the board of directors of the Designers Institute of New Zealand and in 2012 was made a fellow.

Toby Curnow is the Design Director of Inhouse. He completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Elam School of Fine Art in 1994. Toby has worked for some of New Zealand’s leading organisations including Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Karen Walker, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise and The New Zealand Green Building Council. He has served on the board of directors of the Designers Institute of New Zealand and in 2012 was made a fellow.
